Another pastor has been charged with rape, forcible abduction, sexual intercourse and sexual touching of a child.
A pastor and businessman from St. Andrew was charged following the probe into allegations that on several occasions the named accused had sexual relations with a child between 2015 and 2017; according to a report from the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) Corporate Communications Unit (CCU)
The revelation was made by the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA) that a pastor who is also a businessman has been charged with rape, forcible abduction, sexual intercourse and sexual touching of a child under 16 and grievous sexual assault
To protect the identity of the minor involved in the incident the name of the accused pastor is being withheld.
The pastor is scheduled to appear in the St Andrew Parish Court next Tuesday.
