Aspiring Model Attacked With Acid

Resham Khan might have had a lot of plans for her 21st birthday, but I am sure none of her celebration plans included been doused with acid.

June 21, 2017, 21-year-old Resham Khan had taken the time to celebrate her birthday with her cousin Jameel Mukhtar. At approximately, 9:13 a.m. both Resham and Jameel were allegedly sitting in a car at Tollgate Road in east London when the attack took place.

After numerous pleas from law enforcers a man suspected of carrying out the horrific attack is now in custody.

The individual accused of the gruesome attack is 24-year-old John Tomlin. After the incident on June 21, a manhunt was on for the suspect. However, Tomlin turned himself into law enforcers yesterday and have since been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.

The emotional and physical pain of Resham and Jameel continues. Shortly, after the horrific ordeal occurred Resham tweeted: “I saw my clothes burn away in front of me. We stripped off in the middle of the road, running around screaming and begging for water.”

It is reported that Resham’s cousin Jameel had to be placed in induced coma and an operation performed on him. He received burns to his face.

The trauma and pain of the victims are far from over, and life will not be the same for either of them.

Resham Khan is a student and aspiring model. She suffered severe burns to her face and body.

Law enforcers probe into the incident is ongoing.
